  • Contact us.

Reach to us and please include simple front/back pictures of your guitar as well as closeups of any obvious breaks.

From here I can give my experienced opinion on whether the guitar is a good candidate that has good bones to let our modifications work their magic.

  • Schedule it.

Once we’ve gone over what the guitar is and have confirmed it’s potential we can start getting your guitar on the books and give you an idea of our timeline.

We only sell so many Overhaul slots a month and we work on a 1st - to the first Monday of the next month schedule. We require a downpayment of $375 to reserve an Overhaul slot.

  • Ship it.

Along with our downpayment invoice, we’ll send packing instructions. Shipping guitars can be seem really daunting but please remember that almost every single guitar has been shipped at least once in it’s life. Shipping accidents are actually incredibly rare and our instructions include all the best packing protocol.

We require the use our 3rd party shipping provider - they are the most affordable option that also provides superior insurance coverage.

  • Turnaround Time.

We schedule a tight system where only active process guitars are in the workshop. We keep them all in concise order of operations to keep a clear schedule with healthy time for Quality Control at every step.

Working in small batches allows us the advantages of both a personal, bespoke level of detail and the efficiency of a process repetition. Both are huge factors in doing the highest quality luthier work and getting your guitar home in a timely fashion.

  • all done.

When the guitar is finished, we send a final invoice for the remaining balance of the Overhaul process. included in that invoice is return shipping cost with required insurance.

We let the guitar sit under tension for 2 nights and revisit for final setup, top tuning and then it’s ready to go home. A fully optimized vintage flattop guitar with our restorations and modifications making it ready for the long haul and to keep up with anything tonally.
