Ca. 1940 Regal Junior Jumbo - Sold

$1,650.00
sold out

Regal Junior Jumbo ca. 1940.

Ridden hard but no worse for the wear, at least now that we've gone through it. This guitar is a survivor with the patina to prove it... my favorite. Boss Hoss status as an incredible flat top.

Light finger picking to heavy flat picking and all the washboard strumming in between - this guitar is voiced perfectly to go any direction - sensitive but with plenty of headroom.

Solid Spruce top, solid Mahogany back and sides, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Maple binding.

Fully Overhauled with new X bracing, new bridge, neck reset, new tuners BUT original frets and nut ‐ the jumbo frets have lots of life and their look with the fingerboard patina is too good to tamper with! Just a beautiful board.

25.5 inch scale length

1 5/8 nut width

3/32-2/32 action on the e's

15 inch lower bout makes this guitar a zero to sixty cannon. I love it can you tell?
