Harmony H-168 ca. 1969 Available at Fannys House of Music in Nashville

Picked this one off my buddy in New Market, VA. Too pretty of a patina to pass up.

These make great modern sized “bread and butter” guitars with a serious late 60’s flare. This slightly oversized OM body consistently puts out one of the best open low e notes around - full and hearty but with enough focus to keep it from reverby wash out. That’s all to say these are really balanced with clean blocks of pitch. The well rounded sound, fairly standard dimensions and the loud headstock and bridge aesthetics make these great guitars for general issue stage presence.

Ships out with 13’s for a spot on, modern setup.

The original truss rod was broken and swapped for a beefy but featherlight carbon fiber reinforcement. I have to dress my relief into the fingerboard with these rods, no wavy gravy til Kingdom Come.
