Red Foley “Smooth Trailin” Ca. 1945
Well dang, this cowboy does just what it looks like it should. Classic, lightweight serious response and resonance. With 13’s we’ve got a beefy, punchy box that can keep up with the heaviest of right hands or with 12’s this guitar is beautifully delicate for sonorous sweetness or snappy blues… a really great bracing weight for either of the great flattop styles (12’s or 13’s that is).
Fully Overhauled and a new Royal Blackwood fingerboard and carbon fiber neck rod to keep this straight as an arrow for the next century.
12 frets to body
25 inch scale length
Just under 1 3/4 but width
14 inch lower bout
